DESCRIPTION: Patterns of grooves in mostly twos or threes; sets of grooves of differing diameters and lengths, but mostly short in length. Each groove is often longer than wider.

BEHAVIOR(S): Repichna (locomotion, swimming)

ENVIRONMENTAL SETTINGS: Shallow marine and continental aquatic environments.

POSSIBLE TRACEMAKERS: Quadrupedal or bipedal vertebrates

GEOLOGIC RANGE: Devonian–recent
