DESCRIPTION: Quadrupedal trackway in which the pes and manus are pentadactyl and plantigrade or semiplantigrade. The pes impression is rounded-oval with a broad plantar surface. Digit group I-IV is nearly as wide as long, and the angle between digits I and IV is > 40 degrees. Digits are moderately spread, short and blunt with robust, rounded pads and small claws. Digits III and II are the longest, with III > II. In digit V the phalangeal part is not separated, or it is only slightly distinct from the metatarsal-phalangeal pad and mostly oblique and anteriorly directed, never turned backward.

ENVIRONMENTAL SETTINGS: Continental; terrestrial

POSSIBLE TRACEMAKERS: Aetosaurs; heavily armoured, medium- to large-sized Late Triassic herbivorous archosaurs.
