DESCRIPTION: Mineral accumulations as concretions or nodules around small linear feature. May exhibit branching. Composed of gypsum, calcium carbonate, iron, or manganese.

BEHAVIOR(S): Domichnia, polychresichnia (holdfast or anchor, obtain nutrients and water, form symbiotic relationships with mycorrhizal fungi)

ENVIRONMENTAL SETTINGS: Continental terrestrial

POSSIBLE TRACEMAKERS: Mineral accumulation around living or dead fibrous roots.

GEOLOGIC RANGE: Devonian to recent
