DESCRIPTION: Vertical, cylindrical to hemispherical, plug-shaped, lined or unlined protrusions in convex hyporelief or as depressions in concave epirelief. May have a central, circular depression, or raised bump at the base and may be surrounded by tubercles or ledgelike constrictions. Fill is massive and unstructured.
BEHAVIOR(S): Domichnia (dwelling).
ENVIRONMENTAL SETTINGS: Shallow marine to deep marine deposits.
POSSIBLE TRACEMAKERS: Sea anemones.
GEOLOGIC RANGE: Precambrian-recent.
