DESCRIPTION: A small, plantigrade impression with claw impressions on all digits. Pes is slightly larger than manus. The average angle of divarication between manual digits II–V is about 35 degrees and the digits are also thick and stocky. The pollex is shorter than the other four digits and it has an angle of divarication of about 25 degrees, it is also behind the other digits. The pes is similar in structure to the manus with the exception that the hallux diverges less than 15 degrees from the manus and it has a long heel.

ENVIRONMENTAL SETTINGS: Continental; terrestrial

POSSIBLE TRACEMAKERS: Insectivora; tracks are very similar looking to the European hedgehog. Hypothesized to be made by Lepticitis which can be found in the area the track was made.

GEOLOGIC RANGE: upper Eocene
