DESCRIPTION: A relatively large tridactyl (digits II-IV) track. Digit III is the longest digit. Width to length ratio of track is 0.72. Angle of divarication between digits II-IV is about 49 degrees. pes length to stride lenth ratio is about 1 to 5.8.

BEHAVIOR(S): Repichnia

ENVIRONMENTAL SETTINGS: Continental; terrestrial

POSSIBLE TRACEMAKERS: Carnosauria

GEOLOGIC RANGE: Lower Jurassic

REMARKS: Description is the same for the ichnospecies Weiyuanpus zigongensis. Xing et al., 2013 think that Weiyuanpus is a Jr. Syn. of Eubrontes but since they have not formally diagnosed it as such it will remain its own ichnotaxon.
