DESCRIPTION: Tridactyl track that is either as wide or wider than its length. Digit impressions have an oval pad whose long axis is parallel to the track axis. Tracks are rotated inward relative to the trackway. Stride length is about two times the track length. Heel impression is rounded, and is posteriorly concave or transverse along with a bilobated posterior side. Manus impressions can be present.

ENVIRONMENTAL SETTINGS: Continental; terrestrial

POSSIBLE TRACEMAKERS: Likely an ornithopod dinosaur.

GEOLOGIC RANGE: Upper Cretaceous

ADDITIONAL REFERENCES: Gierlinski et al., 2008

REMARKS: Lucas et al., 2011 hypothesize that Hadrosauropodus is a jr. synonym of Caririchnium. However, they have not officially proposed this so at this time, Hadrosauropodus remains a valid ichnotaxon.
