Spirophycus Hantzschel 1962
DESCRIPTION: Transversely folded or cylindrical bulges, curved or bent spirally at the ends, 1-2 cm thick. A knobbly external texture is a main feature of S. caprinus which can make it seem similar to Nereites. Trails are commonly filled with fecal material.
