DESCRIPTION: Hook- to small J-slaped cells with a bulbous termination. Internally composed of backfill menisci.

BEHAVIOR(S): Reproduction, calichnia.

ENVIRONMENTAL SETTINGS: Fully continental terrestrial; constructed in soils in the vadose (unsaturated) zone.

POSSIBLE TRACEMAKERS: Dung Beetles; constructed by the adults to hold an egg and feed the young when hatched.

GEOLOGIC RANGE: Eocene-recent.
